Northern light tour & reindeer
A magic night with snow, reindeer, silence and a chance to see the Northen light – can it be better? A short transfer will take you to a Sami village outside Kiruna. You will help feeding some reindeer in a corral and at the same time learn about the ancient Sami culture. We will go deeper into the dark woods, enjoying the crunching snow under our feet and looking for the Northern lights. Finally we will relax by the warming fire, while enjoying a cup of coffee and homemade bread.

Sami experience with reindeer sled
Encounter, experience and enjoy the culture of the reindeer people. A short transfer will take you to a small Sami village outside Kiruna, to visit the reindeer that are fed in a corral during the hard wintertime. Learn about the importance of the reindeer in the Sami culture. Learn how to throw the lasso the Sámi way and help harness the bull. Dare take a refreshing ride along the track, driving your own reindeer! Enjoy a Sami lunch with reindeer meat around the open fire in the Sami tepee.

Reindeer sled tour
This is a genuine and different experience where you really feel the connection between man, animal and nature.
Our Sami guide will meet us at our hotel in Kiruna and transfer us with minibus to Jukkasjärvi village where we are provided with warm winter clothing. Each person will drive their own reindeer sled. We follow our guide on a track out to the forest landscape. After driving a while we will stop and make a fire out in the wilderness. A traditional Sami lunch will be prepared and the guide tells us about the Sami people and their way of living. After the lunch we will return towards Jukkasjärvi village. Minibus transfer back to Kiruna.

Price: 2 300 SEK/person (minimum 12 years, drive your own sled 16 years.)
