Sauna

Many cultures have a tradition of sauna bathing. The sauna culture in Kiruna has its roots from Tornedalen, the Torne Valley. The people of Kiruna like to have a sauna, and frequently. If one doesn't have an own sauna, one can use a friend's or the swimming hall's. The sauna is a meeting place to talk about anything and everything, except business. All business is taken care of before the sauna.
